MEFCC 2016: My First Comic Con Ever!

Hello people,

I have been away for a while with no new uploads. It's because I was busy preparing for my first comic con table ever.

First of all, I am sorry that I haven't written a prior announcement of my table number. I was so busy in the last few days before the con and totally forgot to write a journal here. Though I know most of my watchers are not in the region, I still should have done that. Gomennasai desuuu~~Neko Emoji-14 (Cry) [V1] Miuna Crying Icon 

So I tabled at MEFCC (Middle East Film and Comic Con) in Dubai which was held on April 7th~9th , and it was one great and unforgettable experience. I finally did an achievement as an artist Bunny Emoji-07 (Emoji Cry) [V1] 

I will share some pictures with you ~


Starting with.. MY TABLE!

Actually, I only have pictures of my table xD", because I barely had any time to wander around :iconduckyrunplz:

The merchandise I had prepared were buttons, bookmarks, and most importantly, prints (A3, A4 and A5). I was also doing copic commissions for people who were interested, which is what kept me busy from wandering around in the con. :awkward:

I had many people complimenting my artworks and loving them. But the awful truth is that the majority of them were not interested in cute stuff but rather in dark and shounen ones ;w;

And very few people were interested in prints, exactly the opposite of what I expected. Most of people's attention was directly drawn to bookmarks and buttons xD

I had some people asking if these are my artworks too lol xD (I felt like oh no, even being in the artist alley people wonder if I drew these xD) OTL

My buttons were all fanarts of some of my beloved characters. I used the same artworks for bookmarks (I'll share the designs with you later). But I also had original artworks on others.

My most beloved artwork of the con was this girl under starry sky, I had it as A3, A4 & bookmark. The bookmark got sold out! (YAY!)

And overall, my table consisted of mainly original artworks. I didn't have the time to draw much new stuff, so I used my previous artworks. I also drew very few fanarts because I wanted to depend on my original content mainly.
It felt great when people appreciated my originals <33

I spent my time drawing commissions yet I forgot to take pictures of them ^^; , except this last one which was done for a dear instagram friend (I'm not sure if she has a dA account)

Now the comic con is over, and I have many stuff left, I'm planning to sell them online very soon. Would you be interested to get some? :iconcute-plz:

I wanted to share this with you. And it will also be a memorial journal for me to remember this beautiful experience every time I read it x3

I'm not a good blogger or writer, yet I hope you enjoyed reading this >w<

I'm very likely to participate again next year, it's definitely worth it ^0^!

I have promised myself to follow my dreams and passion, nothing feels better than that.
So I'm looking forward to work on bigger projects and achievements. Stay tuned to see improvements too (>w<)/
