Sai Ver 2.0.0!

According to my humble knowledge, I am aware that most digital artists (anime artists specifically) prefer Paint Tool Sai for drawing.
Sai is such a useful and simple software, you can produce such great results with it as it is.
But I am sure you know it lacks a lot of other needed features, which is why we switch to photoshop or other softwares for refining our artworks.

But how about if our beloved Sai gets upgraded?
More cool features?

I'm not sure how many people check the Sai official website. But I frequently do. And you don't know how delighted I felt when I saw Sai Ver.2 in the "Development Room"

It's actually available for trial, so that means it's coming out very soon!

So because I am very curious, I downloaded and tried it on a whim:



It doesn't look much different on the surface. So why am I so excited?

I'll tell you why, because it has a BUNCH of useful features I always wished they were available in Sai!!

The main ones that caught my attention are:

1. TEXT TOOL
2. SHAPES
3. PERSPECTIVE RULER
4. MAX CANVAS SIZE UP TO 100,000x100,000 px
5. MAX NUMBER OF LAYERS UP TO 8190 (YEEESSSS!!!!)
6. PLENTY OF LAYER MODES LIKE PHOTOSHOP

Sorry I wrote in Caps but I can't help it I'm so happy and excited XD
I'm sure you won't blame me for my excited-ness because you will as well

Maybe you already know of this new version, but I wanted to share it for the majority who doesn't know yet (according to my humble knowledge again xD)

I was thinking of switching to another software that supports perspective ruler and all because I want learn it to work on my background skill.
But now I'm thinking there is no need for that.
